Welcome to Chrisman Mill Vineyards! Tucked away in the rolling hills of
the bluegrass, Chrisman Mill Vineyards has been called “the best kept secret in
Kentucky”. But just one visit and you’ll find yourself sharing the secret with
all your friends!
Just a few miles away from this country’s first commercial vineyard, Chrisman
Mill Vineyards produced its first wine in 1999, after owners Chris and Denise
Nelson planted 330 vines just 2 years prior. Over 10 years later, we are proud
to offer over 10 wines; all produced here, in Nicholasville, KY.
For the full vine to wine experience, visit us at the vineyard in Nicholasville,
where we offer vineyard tours, a tasting room, and a fantastic setting for
weddings and other special events, all in a relaxing country location. Saturday
lunches are also in full swing from 10:30am until 1:30pm (reservations
recommended.)
We have a second location for wine tastings at our retail location in Lexington.
Conveniently located in the Hamburg Pavilion Shopping Center just off of I-75
(exit 108), it’s the perfect place to shop when you are short on time. Along
with our tasting room, we are pleased to offer a selection of Kentucky Proud
items, gourmet gift baskets, cheeses, sauces, chocolates, wine gift items and
more.
